My work at the intersection of psychiatry and behavioral health policy has shown me that the best care models are the ones that never let the system's efficiency come at the expense of the person's humanity. That conviction is why I'm joining Overstory Health. Its mission of accessible, dignified behavioral healthcare across every age and every level of acuity reflects exactly the kind of system-level change I've spent my care trying to build. Not a system that manages conditions, but one that sees people.
